Cereus repandus -
Cereus repandus has been grown by South American and Dutch ABC Island locals for its fleshy edible fruit. The flesh of the fruit sweetens with ripening, as the outside turns more blush to pink to red, although some can be yellow. This cactus can flower up to once a year, and the flower only opens for one night, but is extremely fragrant- to attract its pollinators, bats and moths. This beauty nowadays is being grown for its striking grey-blue stems, and tall cactus appeal.
Bright, indirect light to full sun. Prefers full sun.
Once weekly if in full sun, or when it starts to wrinkle. Reduce waterings in winter to half. Make sure the soil is completely dry before watering.
The sun is good for both you and your cacti.
