About The Alocasia Melo

The first thing we noticed about our new alocasia, Alocasia 'Melo,' is the thick, rugged foliage. "Structural" is a good word to describe it. Just look at that detail shot! The matte green leaves are etched with texture that brings to mind a lush aerial photo of a far-away landscape that most of us will only see in an episode of Planet Earth. Or a tire tread. Or the sole of a Blundstone boot — but in a sexy, moody way. The Alocasia 'Melo' is a true conversation piece and today only, it's our Deal of the Day!

Approximately 5" in diameter, fits plants in a 4" grow pot or smaller

Watering Requirements
Water every 1 week allowing half of the soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light conditions and less often in lower light.
Sunlight Requirements
Thrives in medium to bright indirect light. Not suited for low light conditions or direct afternoon sun.
Humidity Requirements
Alocasia prefer higher humidity if possible, preferably above 40%. Consider incorporating a humidifier to boost humidity levels more consistently if the air in the home is dry.
