Aphelandra squarrosa or the Zebra plant is a Brazilian native popular for its dark green leaves with striking white veins and bright yellow bract-type flowers. This is a great pet-friendly option that can reach up to 2 feet in height making it perfect for any space you don't want it to outgrow.
