This tropical beauty thrives in bright, indirect light and loves a humid environment with moist, well-draining soil. It is best grown in containers indoors or in a greenhouse (though it loves a vacation outdoors during the warmer months!), but if you live in USDA Zones 10-13 and your average annual winter temperatures don't fall below 50°F, it can be grown directly in-ground outdoors.
