Plant Bio

String of Dolpins, or Curio peregrinus, formerly known as Senecio x peregrinus, is a hybrid between Curio rowleyanus and Curio articulatas. In the wild, the genus normally creeps as ground cover, but the long vining stems make it a perfect specimen for a hanging basket. The vines bare dolphin-shaped leaves, and it produces flowers late Spring into Summer that resemble white puffballs with golden yellow filaments that smell like cinnamon!
