The Prickly Pear Cactus, scientifically known as Opuntia monacantha ‘Joseph's Coat’, is an instant icon. With its flat paddles are covered in thick, long spines, it could be pulled straight from an episode of Coyote and Roadrunner.
This resilient succulent thrives in bright, indirect sunlight and requires minimal watering, perfect for busy plant parents. Low maintenance and big style. It's a win-win.

- Water every 2-3 weeks in direct light, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
- Under optimal conditions, this prickly pear cactus can produce red, pear-shaped thornless fruit!
