    Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my Peace Lily completely drooping and fainting?
Peace Lilies are famous for being extreme drama queens! When they run out of water, the entire plant will abruptly collapse and flop completely flat over the sides of the pot. If the soil feels bone-dry and lightweight, give it a thorough, deep watering (or bottom-water it in a sink), and the stems will usually plump back up within 1-2 days.

Why are the leaf tips on my Peace Lily turning brown and crispy?
Crispy brown leaf margins or tips are most likely caused by underwatering or low humidity. If the air around the plant is dry, run a dedicated humidifier nearby, and ensure you water as soon as the soil dries out, providing a thorough soak to evenly saturate the potting mix.

How do you get a Peace Lily to bloom again?
While Peace Lilies survive well in low light, they will not bloom without bright, indirect sunlight. Move the plant closer to an east-facing window or a few feet back from a sunny window where it can get plenty of ambient light without direct sun rays scorching the leaves.

Why are my Peace Lily's white flowers turning green?
The white "flower" is actually a modified leaf called a spathe that surrounds the true, tiny flowers on the central spike (spadix). As the bloom reaches the end of its life cycle (typically after several weeks), the plant stops wasting energy attracting pollinators and infuses the spathe with chlorophyll so it can photosynthesize!

Why is my 'Domino' Peace Lily losing its white variegation and turning solid green?
If the gorgeous white streaks, splashes, and marbled patterns on your 'Domino' are fading away, your plant is reacting to a lack of light. Move your plant into bright, indirect sunlight (like near an east-facing window). While standard green Peace Lilies tolerate dark corners, the 'Domino' cultivar absolutely requires bright, ambient light to maintain and push out its signature marbled variegation.

Why are the leaves on my 'Domino' Peace Lily crinkled and textured? Is it sick?
No, your plant is perfectly healthy! Unlike the smooth, glossy, mirror-like leaves of a standard Peace Lily, the 'Domino' cultivar is famous for its distinct, heavily textured foliage.
