Sunlight Requirements
Thrives in full sun, needing at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily to produce abundant fruit.
Humidity Requirements
Lemon trees thrive best when humidity levels are around 50–60%, though they are resilient enough to handle levels as low as 40% without much fuss. The easiest way to keep your tree comfortable indoors is with a humidifier, which creates a consistent 'microclimate' of moist air that helps your plant thrive year-round.

How often should you water a Lisbon Lemon Tree?
Water thoroughly but infrequently. Allow the top 2-3 inches of soil to dry out completely before drenching the root zone again. For in-ground trees in hot climates, deep watering once a week is usually sufficient. For potted Lisbon trees, check the soil moisture every few days.

Are Lisbon Lemon Trees self-pollinating?
Yes, the Lisbon Lemon Tree is 100% self-fertile (self-pollinating). You only need one tree to get fruit. Outdoor trees are pollinated by wind and pollinators. If you are growing your tree indoors, you can maximize your fruit set by gently shaking the blooming branches once a day or using a paintbrush to transfer the pollen.

When do Lisbon lemons ripen for harvest?
While the tree may produce sporadic blooms year-round, its primary harvest window occurs from late fall through winter (typically November to February). Lemons do not continue to ripen once picked, so wait until they turn completely vibrant yellow and give slightly to gentle pressure before clipping them from the branch.
