Corkscrew Croton Information

Corkscrew Croton
About The Corkscrew Croton

This variegated croton gets its name from its thin, twisty leaves, which are dappled in shades of red, yellow, green, and pink. The more light it gets, the brighter and more varied the colors become. To that point, this tropical plant requires bright direct sun. South- and west-facing windows are best.

  • Each plant is unique; size and shape fluctuate by season so all measurements are shown as a range

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my Croton dropping its leaves?
Leaf drop in Crotons is most commonly caused by insufficient light or underwatering, though it can also be triggered by stress from sudden environmental changes. Ensure your plant sits in a bright spot and that you are watering thoroughly as soon as the top couple of inches of soil dry out.

How much sunlight does an indoor Croton plant need?
Crotons require 4-6 hours of bright, direct sunlight daily. Indoors, they should be placed directly on a south- or west-facing windowsill or under a grow light if natural lighting isn't enough. You can also grow them outdoors during the warmer months, just be sure to start them in full shade and gradually acclimate them to partial sun to prevent the leaves from burning.
