Snake Plant Hahnii Information

Snake Plant Hahnii
About The Snake Plant Hahnii

Most snake plants grow tall and skinny. The Snake Plant ‘Hahnii,’ on the other hand, is known for its compact, rosette growth habit ("rosette" meaning its leaves come out of a center point in way that sort of resembles a rose). This variety will also stay fairly small, growing up to about 12 inches or so. The foliage is a deep green with contrasting lime-green-ish accents.

If you often find yourself forgetting to water your plants — no judgement! — this is a great plant to add to your collection. As hardy as any other snake variety, this is a low-maintenance plant that can handle pretty much anything that comes its way. That said, it thrives in low to bright indirect light (and still needs to be watered on occasion — don't totally neglect it!). Snake plants have proven air-purifying qualities, too. It helps remove toxins and improve indoor air quality.
