About The Schefflera Arboricola Braid

The braided Schefflera arboricola, also known as the dwarf umbrella tree, features a fun twisted trunk with lush, glossy green foliage that can reach up to 3-6' indoors. Easy to care for, it thrives in bright, indirect light and only needs the occasional soaking. Its compact size and sculptural shape make it a perfect focal point plant for homes, offices, or even patios!

NOTE: As your Schefflera grows, we recommend giving it an occasional trim to help maintain the desired shape and fullness you desire. Regular pruning encourages bushier growth and prevents it from becoming too leggy or uneven. A quick snip here and there keeps it looking its best!

    • Each plant is unique; size and shape fluctuate by season so all measurements are shown as a range
    • Large plant measures between 2-3 feet tall from bottom of the grow pot to the top of the foliage

    Watering Requirements
    Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
    Sunlight Requirements
    Thrives in medium to bright indirect light to morning direct sun. Not suited for low light conditions.
    Humidity Requirements
    Normal room humidity can work, but Schefflera can benefit from higher humidity conditions. Consider incorporating a humidifier to boost humidity levels more consistently if the air in the home is dry.
