About The Pothos NJoy
Pothos Njoy, scientifically known as Epipremnum aureum 'n'joy' is a trailing houseplant with striking variegated foliage. This low-maintenance plant is easy to care for like other Pothos but requires brighter light to sustain its creamy variegation.
- Each plant is unique; size and shape fluctuate by season so all measurements are shown as a range
- Small plant measures between 7-11 inches tall from bottom of the grow pot to the top of the foliage

Sizing Guide
Small
Approximately 5" in diameter, fits plants in a 4" grow pot or smaller
Medium
Approximately 7" in diameter, fits plants in a 6" grow pot or smaller
Large
Approximately 10-12" in diameter, fits plants in a 10" grow pot or smaller
Massive
Approximately 12-14" in diameter, fits plants in a 12" grow pot or smaller
Watering Requirements
Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
Sunlight Requirements
Thrives in bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium to low indirect light. Not suited for intense, direct sun.
Humidity Requirements
Normal room humidity will do, but Pothos will feel more at home under higher humidity conditions if possible, preferably between 40-60%. Consider incorporating a humidifier to boost humidity levels more consistently if the air in the home is dry.

Is the N'Joy Pothos a naturally occurring wild plant?
The N'Joy Pothos is a patented cultivar that did not originate in the wild. It was discovered in 2002 as a natural mutation on a Marble Queen Pothos plant during a controlled breeding selection process.
How can you tell an N'Joy Pothos apart from a Pearls and Jade Pothos?
An N'Joy Pothos features solid borders of cream or bright white that wrap cleanly around the green leaf sections. In contrast, a Pearls and Jade Pothos displays heavy green and silver speckling right inside those white patches.
What are the ideal lighting conditions for a Pothos N'Joy?
This variety demands bright, indirect sunlight to maintain its crisp cream patches. Because the white areas completely lack chlorophyll, the plant requires more ambient light to grow than standard solid-green trailing vines.
Why is my N'Joy Pothos growing solid green leaves?
Your plant is producing solid green leaves because its current location is too dark. The vine intentionally creates more chlorophyll to maximize energy production when it does not receive enough ambient light.
Why are the white edges on my N'Joy Pothos turning brown and crispy?
The white patches turn brown because those sections lack protective pigmentation and are highly sensitive to stress. This specific browning could indicate inconsistent watering, sudden drops in household humidity or temperature, or stress from tap water minerals or too much sunlight.
