About The Jade Pothos

Pothos plants are loved for their quick-growing, trailing vines that flourish in bright to medium light with weekly waterings. They are an excellent choice for beginner plant parents and require little care. This classic Jade variety is a great way to expand your plant collection while sticking to tried-and-true, easy-care plants.

  • Arrives in a nursery grow pot nestled in your planter choice

Sunlight Requirements
Thrives in bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium to low indirect light. Not suited for intense, direct sun.
Humidity Requirements
Normal room humidity will do, but Pothos will feel more at home under higher humidity conditions if possible, preferably between 40-60%. Consider incorporating a humidifier to boost humidity levels more consistently if the air in the home is dry.

My Pothos is bare at the base, how do I fix it?
To rejuvenate a pothos that is bare at the soil, try the layering method! Gently lay one of the longer, healthy vines onto the soil surface, securing it with floral pins or paper clips so the nodes (where
leaves and aerial roots form) make contact with the soil. In a few weeks, the nodes will develop roots, creating new growth at the base. If you don't have a long vine to layer with, you can always propagate stem cuttings from your plant to root and plant at the soil surface!

How do you make a Jade Pothos fuller and bushier?
By nature, pothos plants are climbers and trailers that grow in long, singular vines. If left completely unpruned, the top of the pot can begin to look sparse and leggy. Regularly pruning the trailing ends of your vines just below a leaf node during the spring or summer months can help force the plant to branch out just below the cut.
