The Plumosa Fern, scientifically known as Asparagus plumosus is a unique and eye-catching plant. With its delicate, feathery fronds, this fern adds a touch of softness and charm to your home decor. The Plumosa Fern is low-maintenance, thriving in indirect light and moderate humidity, making it ideal for beginner plant enthusiasts.

Watering Requirements
Water every 1 week, allowing soil to dry out halfway down between waterings.
Sunlight Requirements
Thrives in medium to bright indirect light. Not suited for intense, direct sun.
Humidity Requirements
Asparagus Ferns prefer higher humidity if possible, preferably above 40%. Consider incorporating a humidifier to boost humidity levels more consistently if the air in the home is dry.

Why is my Asparagus Fern turning yellow and shedding needles?
Yellowing and rapid leaf shedding are typically caused by underwatering, low humidity, or a lack of light. You can easily fix this by maintaining a more consistent watering schedule and using a humidifier to raise the surrounding humidity. Trim away any completely yellow or dead stems at the soil line to encourage fresh, bushy new growth to emerge and ensure the plant is exposed to bright, indirect light.
How do you propagate an Asparagus Fern?
Asparagus Ferns are most successfully propagated through root division during their active growing season. You can do so by using a clean knife to slice the root ball into smaller clusters, ensuring each section contains several healthy tubers and stems. Replant the new divisions immediately into fresh, well-draining soil and keep them moist until they establish.
