Petite Pink Orchid Care & Information

Add a pop of pink to your tablescape with this popular Phalaenopsis orchid. One of the easiest varieties to grow as a houseplant—it is affectionately called the beginner orchid. You may notice a small number of blooms on your orchid upon delivery. These blooms will open quicker in a warm indoor setting. It will typically bloom about once a year, for up to three months. After a blooming cycle, the flowers will wilt and fall off. This is the orchid’s way to store up energy to re-bloom again next season.

  • Each plant is unique; size and shape fluctuate by season so all measurements are shown as a range
  • Orchid measures between 8"–14” tall from the soil line to the top of the foliage
  • Arrives in a 2.5" nursery grow pot nestled inside your planter
  • The actual color of blooms may vary slightly from what is pictured
How to care for a Petite Pink Orchid

Petite Pink Orchid

Plant Origin: India, China, Southeast Asia

Sunlight requirements

Thrives in bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium indirect light. Direct sun tolerance is species dependant.

Watering requirements

Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing potting medium to dry out between waterings. If kept in decorative, cache planter, pour out excess water after watering. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light. This plant can benefit from extra humidity.
