About The Large Sago Palm

The Sago Palm (Cycas revoluta) is great for anyone who's looking for a low-maintenance but interesting houseplant. This charming, ancient-looking plant can bring a touch of the tropics to your indoor or outdoor spaces. So long as it's not over-watered, it should thrive in most conditions.

  • Each plant is unique; size and shape fluctuate by season so all measurements are shown as a range
  • This variety is a multi-head clump type and doesn't possess a single trunk
  • Large plant measure between 2-3 feet tall from bottom of the grow pot to the top of the foliage

Watering Requirements
Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
Sunlight Requirements
Thrives in bright indirect light to direct sunlight. Not suited for low light conditions.
Humidity Requirements
Normal room humidity can work, but the Sago Palm can benefit from higher humidity conditions. Consider incorporating a humidifier to boost humidity levels more consistently if the air in the home is dry.
