About The Large Majesty Palm
The Majesty Palm is a popular tropical palm known for its graceful, long green fronds. It is a slow-growing plant, but when well cared for can reach up to 10 feet in height, giving your space instant jungle vibes. Sized to ship best, our large Majesty Palm arrives with room to grow as it adapts to your home’s conditions.
- Each plant is unique; size and shape fluctuate by season so all measurements are shown as a range
- Large plant measures between 3-4 feet tall from bottom of the grow pot to the top of the foliage
- Extra Large plant measures between 5-6 feet tall from bottom of the grow pot to the top of the foliage
- Large plants benefit from brighter light to help retain their mature foliage
- Large plants require less frequent waterings due to their higher volume of soil
- If you purchase a large plant with a planter, the planter will ship separately

Approximately 5" in diameter, fits plants in a 4" grow pot or smaller
Medium
Approximately 7" in diameter, fits plants in a 6" grow pot or smaller

Approximately 12-14" in diameter, fits plants in a 12" grow pot or smaller
Watering Requirements
Water weekly, allowing soil to dry out half way down between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
Sunlight Requirements
Thrives in bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium indirect light. Not suited for low light conditions.
Humidity Requirements
Palms prefer higher humidity if possible, preferably above 40%. Consider incorporating a humidifier to boost humidity levels more consistently if the air in the home is dry.

Why is my Majesty Palm constantly turning yellow and shedding fronds?
Persistent yellowing is a classic sign that your palm is craving more light, severely dehydrated, or struggling with dry air. To fix this, you can easily adjust your setup based on what your plant needs and move it closer to a window or under a grow light if it is currently too far away from a bright light source. If you find that the soil is bone-dry, you should give it a thorough, deep soaking right away, and placing a humidifier nearby will provide that tropical moisture it loves.
How often should I water a Majesty Palm?
Unlike desert palms, the Majesty Palm hates dry soil. Water it as soon as the top half of the soil feels dry, which may be weekly during the growing season to every 10 days during the fall and winter months. Ensure you give it a thorough soaking so water drains out the bottom, and remove any excess water after 5-10 minutes.
What is the best fertilizer for a Majesty Palm?
Majesty Palms are heavy feeders and are prone to iron and magnesium deficiencies as the actively grow. Feed them every 4-6 weeks during the spring and summer with a balanced slow-release or water soluble fertilizer.
