Watering Requirements
Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out half way down between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
Sunlight Requirements
Thrives in bright indirect light, but can tolerate medium indirect light.
Humidity Requirements
Palms prefer higher humidity if possible, preferably above 40%. Consider incorporating a humidifier to boost humidity levels more consistently if the air in the home is dry.

Does the Kentia Palm tolerate low light?
Yes, the Kentia Palm is known for its tolerance of low-light conditions. However, when keeping it in lower light, it is recommended to scale back both your watering and fertilizing, as the plant will naturally consume resources much more slowly in a dimmer environment.
How do I know if my Kentia Palm is overwatered?
If you are overwatering your Kentia, the lower fronds will develop dark black or mushy brown spots, or even yellowing, accompanied by soggy soil. Let the top 50% of the soil dry out completely before watering again.
