About The Jasmine Sambac
The Jasmine sambac will surely add a touch of timeless elegance to any space with its glossy green leaves and delicate, white, star-shaped flowers. This low-maintenance beauty thrives in warm, sunny spots and makes a beautiful addition to patios, balconies, or sunny windowsills. It's also a great choice for hanging baskets, climbing trellis's, or in any space the plant has room to spread!

Watering Requirements
Water every 1-2 weeks allowing soil to dry out about halfway between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light conditions.
Sunlight Requirements
Thrives in bright indirect light to full sun. Not suited for low light conditions.
Humidity Requirements
Jasmine prefers higher humidity if possible, preferably above 40%. Consider incorporating a humidifier to boost humidity levels more consistently if the air in the home is dry.

How much sun does a Jasmine vine need to bloom?
Jasmine requires full sun to partial shade, meaning it needs at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily in order to bloom. For the best balance of dense, glossy dark-green leaves and a blanket of white blossoms, plant it in a spot that receives bright morning and early afternoon sun.
How do you prune and train a Jasmine vine to climb?
Jasmine does not have sticky tendrils or suction cups, so it cannot climb smooth surfaces on its own. To get it to grow vertically, you must twine its flexible stems around a supportive structure like a railing, trellis, fence, or wire framework. Prune Jasmine immediately after its spring blooming cycle ends to ensure you don't accidentally cut off next years developing buds. Use sterile pruners to prune back aggressive shoots, shape the vine, and keep it within its boundaries.
