About The Ficus Ruby

The Ficus elastica 'Ruby' is a striking houseplant with glossy, deep green leaves accented by vibrant pinkish-red hues along the edges. This easy-to-care-for plant thrives in bright light and adds a pop of color to any space with its bold, variegated foliage. With minimal watering needs, it's a perfect choice for both beginners and seasoned plant parents.

Watering Requirements
Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
Sunlight Requirements
Thrives in bright indirect light. Can benefit from a few hours of direct sun. Not suited for low light conditions.
Humidity Requirements
Normal room humidity will do, but Ficus can benefit from higher humidity conditions. Consider incorporating a humidifier to boost humidity levels more consistently if the air in the home is dry.
