About The Ficus Burgundy Rubber Tree
The Ficus Burgundy Rubber Tree is the tall, tree-form version of our Ficus Burgundy Rubber Plant, perfect for adding height to your favorite sunny corner. This sturdy tree can grow up to 6-10 feet tall indoors and is loved for its thick, glossy leaves in a deep, moody maroon. It's a great choice for beginners; just give it plenty of bright light and water when dry.
Note: The Rubber Tree produces a latex sap that was once used in rubber production. Cool! But on the flip side, that sap is toxic, so it's best to keep this plant out of reach of curious pets and small children.
- Each plant is unique; size and shape fluctuate by season so all measurements are shown as a range
- Large plant measures 3-4 feet tall from bottom of the grow pot to the top of the foliage.
- Large plants benefit from brighter light to help retain their mature foliage
- Large plants require less frequent waterings due to their higher volume of soil
