- Thrives in bright direct light, but can tolerate bright indirect light.
- Water every 2-3 weeks in direct light, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
- The 'Mermaid Tail' is actually a grafted cactus, created by joining a cresting top section of the plant to a sturdy rootstock. This grafting technique creates its unique, mermaid-tail shape that wouldn’t naturally occur in the wild!
