Shade gardens don't have to be all green. This mix pulls together the most shade-tolerant daffodils available, with overlapping bloom times that carry color from early spring straight through late spring. Expect classic yellows, crisp whites, and warm orange-cupped varieties on sturdy 12 to 18 inch stems.
Plant them under deciduous trees, along woodland borders, or through garden beds where sun is limited. They naturalize year after year, come back stronger, and make excellent cut flowers for spring bouquets. They also grow well in large patio containers if you want spring color right by the door.
Tuck 100 bulbs into your shadiest beds this fall and let spring do the rest.
