- Thrives in bright indirect light to some morning direct sun, but can tolerate medium indirect light. Not suited for harsh afternoon sun or low light conditions.
- Water weekly, allowing half the soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light. This plant can benefit from extra humidity.
- Unlike many other anthuriums that climb or vine, plowmanii grows in a rosette form — meaning the leaves spread out in a circular pattern from a central point. It kind of looks like a green, leafy birds nest!!
