If you have a Norfolk Island Pine Tree or mini holiday tree, here’s our Sill-approved recommendations on how to make it feel extra special for the holidays.

Our Norfolk Island Pine Tree is the perfect way to bring that holiday feeling home. While this evergreen plant lasts all year round, it’s always fun to spruce it up just in time for the holidays.

Follow along for our favorite ways to decorate the Norfolk Island Pine and add it to your space, below:

1. Add Your Favorite Lights and Decorations

 

Our friend Erika from @home.and.spirit on Instagram put together her Norfolk decorations using floral wire and scissors, hanging bells and delicate fairy lights. We recommend picking what makes you happiest: whether it’s bright lights to make your space feel cozier, or tiny ornaments to secure the traditional holiday look.

2. Pick Your Favorite Spot

norfolk island pineOnce you’ve added your favorite mini ornaments, lights or other decorations on the Norfolk Island Pine, it’s time to figure out where to place it in your home. We recommend picking your favorite bookshelf, as a table centerpiece next to your favorite candles, or on your favorite side table. 

Wherever you place it, be sure to add it to any spot that receives bright indirect to medium light so that it will thrive. 

3. Make it Match with Your Decor

Our friend Kahlia of @kahliaanika on Instagram opted not to add mini ornaments and instead made her Norfolk fit in with her personal style. Her Norfolk is in the cream Balboa planter and matches perfectly with her DIY foam table.
