Our Norfolk Island Pine Tree is the perfect way to bring that holiday feeling home. While this evergreen plant lasts all year round, it’s always fun to spruce it up just in time for the holidays.
Follow along for our favorite ways to decorate the Norfolk Island Pine and add it to your space, below:
1. Add Your Favorite Lights and Decorations
Our friend Erika from @home.and.spirit on Instagram put together her Norfolk decorations using floral wire and scissors, hanging bells and delicate fairy lights. We recommend picking what makes you happiest: whether it’s bright lights to make your space feel cozier, or tiny ornaments to secure the traditional holiday look.
Erika used these bells and these mini ornaments to bring her little tree to life. If you’re looking for more tiny ornaments, custom ornaments of your favorite movies, personalized ugly sweater ornaments or more, we recommend checking out Etsy.
2. Pick Your Favorite Spot
Once you’ve added your favorite mini ornaments, lights or other decorations on the Norfolk Island Pine, it’s time to figure out where to place it in your home. We recommend picking your favorite bookshelf, as a table centerpiece next to your favorite candles, or on your favorite side table.
Wherever you place it, be sure to add it to any spot that receives bright indirect to medium light so that it will thrive.
3. Make it Match with Your Decor
Our friend Kahlia of @kahliaanika on Instagram opted not to add mini ornaments and instead made her Norfolk fit in with her personal style. Her Norfolk is in the cream Balboa planter and matches perfectly with her DIY foam table.
