  • Thrives in full sun to partial shade, needing at least 4 to 6 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal blooming. Some magnolia species may tolerate more shade, but they may produce fewer flowers and grow more slowly. Suited for hardiness zones 4-10, depending on the species.
