About The Pindo Palm

This palm is cold-hardy — unlike many tropical palms, the Pindo can withstand temperatures as low as 15°F, making it a perfect choice for us gardeners north of the equator who want to give their gardens a lush, resort-style vibe.
Fun Fact: The Pindo Palm is also known as a Jelly Palm because its small, bright orangey-red fruits are commonly used to make homemade jellies and preserves. Often called "pindo dates" or "jelly palm dates," these fruits are sweet and tangy in flavor and are naturally high in pectin, which makes them great for jellies
