About The Parlor Palm
The Parlor Palm is a favorite easy-care palm with tropical fronds known for its air-purifying qualities.
- Each plant is unique; size and shape fluctuate by season so all measurements are shown as a range
- Small plant measures between 6–11 inches tall from bottom of the grow pot to the top of the foliage
- Medium plant measures between 12-18 inches tall from bottom of the grow pot to the top of the foliage
- Large plant measures between 3-4 feet tall from bottom of the grow pot to the top of the foliage
- Arrives in a nursery grow pot nestled in your planter choice
Sizing Guide
Small
Approximately 5" in diameter, fits plants in a 4" grow pot or smaller
Medium
Approximately 7" in diameter, fits plants in a 6" grow pot or smaller
Large
Approximately 10-12" in diameter, fits plants in a 10" grow pot or smaller
Massive
Approximately 12-14" in diameter, fits plants in a 12" grow pot or smaller
Watering Requirements
Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to mostly dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light and less often in lower light.
Sunlight Requirements
Thrives in medium to bright indirect light, but can tolerate low indirect light. Not suited for intense, direct sun.
Humidity Requirements
Palms prefer higher humidity if possible, preferably above 40%. Consider incorporating a humidifier to boost humidity levels more consistently if the air in the home is dry.

Can a Parlor Palm live in a room with low light?
Yes! The Parlor Palm handles low to medium indirect light effortlessly, making it perfect for apartments or office desks.
Why is my Parlor Palm turning brown?
If leaves are turning brown and crispy, it is usually caused by underwatering or low humidity. However, if you only see a brown leaf popping up here and there on the very bottom of the plant, this is just natural leaf loss as the older foliage matures and dies off.
