Zamioculcas zamiifolia, also known as the ZZ plant, is an aroid (Araceae) native to eastern and southern Africa. They are one of the easiest houseplants to grow, tolerating extremely low levels of light and moisture. ZZ plants have been found in a NASA study to purify the air of harmful toxins, and are excellent starter plants due to their low maintenance.
Low to medium to bright, indirect light.
Once weekly if in brighter light, or when it starts to wrinkle. Reduce waterings in winter to half. Make sure the soil is completely dry before watering.
