Plant Origins

Brazil

Plant Bio

Peperomia caperata ‘Ripple Green’ or ‘Emerald Green’ is a species of Peperomia. The name caperata means wrinkled, and is a reference to its leaves. This tropical plant grows low but gets high praise from horticulturists worldwide. Peperomias are related to black peppercorns, and are in the family Piperaceae. Like other plants in the family, the flower stalk is cream colored, and the tiny flowers lack a perianth (petals or sepals). This peperomia is easily propagated via leaf-cuttings, and is able to regenerate after completely dying back to the stem.

Feline friendly... because, cats.
