Plant Origins

Cultivated in the Netherlands

Plant Bio

The Calandiva is a kalanchoe cultivar that was developed in the Netherlands. It is known for its tiny blooms in late winter and early spring. A drought tolerant succulent (kalanchoes are native to Madagascar and Africa), you’ll want to avoid overwatering this plant. Water about every two to three weeks in bright light. Once your blooms die, feel free to prune them back. To force your calandiva to bloom again next year, provide them with long dark nights in late fall and early winter, until buds begin to form.

Great gift for Mom.
