Hanging Kokedama

Posted by The Sill on

We’re such big fans of hanging kokedama (aka string gardens or hanging gardens). We did a handful for the windows of a Union Square office - lovely to look at, and they boost work morale :) Below, our top 3 favorite kodedama blog posts from around the web.

Not the DIY type? Find our handmade Kokedama at TheSill.com (pictured above)
Planted, packed, and ready to be shipped to your door.

  • I am a Health and Phys. Ed. teacher and the sponsor for my school’s garden. We are located in rural Loxahatchee, fl. My students, Pierce Hammock Elementary School, are so very proud and hard-working in our garden. Could you please send 200 “plants help clean the air” postcard size info cards for my kids?

I would appreciate anything else you may have to donate to our garden. thank you. Janet duncan

  • Thanks for posting tutorial links…because I have been seeing these around and wondered how easy they would actually be to make. And it looks pretty darn easy, especially since I can find moss all over.
