How neat are these! The Hopewell Rocks, pictured below, are located along the coast of New Brunswick's Bay of Fundy, home to the world's highest tides. These tides, along with time, have carved out striking cliffs, coves, and rock formations topped with trees and foliage. At low tide these formations are like mountains, towering over visitors who can peer up at these "giant flowerpots" (we like the sound of that!) while walking the ocean floor. At high tide they become small islands, surrounded by water, perfect for kayaking and bird watching.
