Mid-Week Musings: The Butterfly Conservatory at the American Museum of Natural History

Posted by The Sill on

I think we can all agree Spring can't come soon enough. We might be waiting another month or two for the warm weather we're all craving, so here at The Sill we've decided to improvise. Enter The Butterfly Conservatory at NYC's American Museum of Natural History, a re-created tropical forest filled with more than five hundred live butterflies surrounded by lush tropical vegetation… in 80-degree temperatures! Sigh. Not surprisingly, this is one of the museum's most popular seasonal exhibits.
